ahhh...things bought never to be used again. before parting with yr dollars, i suggest emailing me first to confirm that the item you want on this page hasn't been sold--i remove and post items as soon as they come in/as soon as they've been sold, but i work on a first come first serve basis, and bychance i receive two envelopes the same day with the same order, the earliest postmark gets it. play it fair.

mint condition
(buying books from an obsessive-compulsive girl is the way to go!), i've barely
even looked at this book. i bought it last minute for a report, but never
got around to using it as a source so i really can't rate the substance of
this book--ny times book review gave it good words, and it seemed pretty interesting
(and probably would have been even more had i not been frantic at 1 in the
morning the night before said paper was due when i first skimmed it). contact
me for the shipping price.

ecstasy

great
"When the young, hypertalented idealists who call themselves Ecstasy
Club find an abandoned piano factory in Oakland, they make it the focus of
a round-the-clock rave the likes of which the Bay Area has never seen before.
They also make the factory a base camp in their search for a method of time
travel that combines computer wizardry, esoteric spirituality, and mind-altering
substances. The Club's mesmeric leader, Duncan, and our resourceful narrator,
Zach, actually manage to "break time" online, only to discover that an unsettling
array of characters has beat them to it. Government agents, corporate saboteurs,
religious zealots, and even the local cops are suddenly out to get the Club.
As they battle an ingeniously conceived conspiracy (think Thomas Pynchon meets
the X-Files), Zach battles his own growing affection for Duncan's lover, Lauren,
and begins to wonder whether enlightenment is all it's cracked up to be."-the

condition: great/paperback
"Dr. Hannibal Lecter, the serial killer from The Silence of the Lambs
whose portrayal on film earned Anthony Hopkins an Academy Award, and who for
many, is the ultimate villain in modern fiction, is back with a vengeance.
ÒHannibal the CannibalÓ is at the center of the first novel in more than a
decade by his creator, Thomas Harris. Hannibal also features the reappearance
from The Silence of the Lambs of FBI Special Agent Clarice Starling, portrayed
in the movie by Jodie Foster, who also won an Oscar for her performance. The
new novel opens seven years after Dr. LecterÕs stunning escape from the authorities,
the climax of the earlier book, as one of his earlier victims uses Agent Starling
as bait to draw the doctor into an intricate and unspeakable design for revenge."

with a handsome boyfriend and the cool crowd.' Now Ashley is THE BRIDE. As
the wedding hysteria mounts, Haven feels too huge for the pretty pink bridesmaid
dress. She imagines herself as Frankenstein, spreading chaos and revengein
the mall where she works. Only Ashley's attractive first boyfriend seems to
understand Haven. Why did Ashley ever break up with him? . . . Grades seven
to twelve." - booklist
